This Drive Busy Board puts a child behind the wheel of a dashboard of their own, with a steering wheel, a gear shifter, buttons and a range of other interactive elements to turn, slide, press and spin. The driving theme is what makes it work. Instead of a set of unrelated mechanisms, everything on the board belongs to one story, and children fill in the rest themselves: city traffic, a country road, a family trip. That story is what keeps them there longer than the mechanisms alone would. The developmental side comes free with the play, since turning, sliding, pressing and spinning each element strengthens fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination in a way that feels entirely play-led. It is made from durable wood with rounded edges and soft, inviting colours, and it is compact enough to use on a tabletop rather than needing its own floor space.
