Brand and product details
This TookyToy Busy Board is a flat wooden panel with a barn to discover behind its doors and hatches, each one held shut by a different latch or lace. That is the whole design, and it works because a closed door is a question a toddler wants answered. Undoing each fastening takes fine motor control and a fair bit of patience, and working out which movement opens which catch is genuine problem solving at this age. Being flat and 30 x 39.5 x 4 cm, it lies on a table, sits on a lap in the car, or leans against a wall, which is the practical advantage over an activity cube or table. It is made from timber and finished to a high standard, and painted in child-safe, non-toxic paint. Suits children from eighteen months. The set contains one busy board.
