Brand and product details
The Oh Crab baby float is Swim Essentials' starter swim seat, made for a baby's first swim, for pool and beach days, and for building early water confidence, with a cute crab design meant to keep babies engaged in the water. It is built from 100 percent durable 6P PVC at 0.25 mm thickness, which the supplier describes as extra-thick premium PVC, and it is 18PAHS compliant. The safety design is the reason to choose it over a plain inflatable ring: four separate air chambers mean one chamber deflating does not empty the float, and the safety valves guard against accidental deflation. Swim Essentials state it is tested to EN-13138-3, the European safety standard for infant swimming aids. It measures 69 cm in diameter and is rated for babies of 0 to 1 year, up to a maximum of 11 kg. The crab print is the only difference between this and the other prints in the range.
