Details
Baby Roo silky crayons from Jar Melo, built around one idea: a very young child should be able to make a bold mark without effort. The silky feel means colour goes down smoothly with almost no pressure, which matters for a toddler whose grip is still developing, and the crayons are twistable, so there is no sharpening, no snapping and no paper wrapper to pick at. They are washable and non-toxic. Where they part company with an ordinary box of crayons is the age they start at: these are recommended from twelve months, early enough to be a first drawing tool rather than a step up from one. The colorants contain no volatile organic compounds and have been approved by WIMA and ACMI, comply with the EU's EN 71 standard for toy safety testing and are supported by REACH. The set contains twelve crayons.
