Brand and product details
A geoboard is one of the most direct ways to teach geometry, because a child makes a shape with their own hands and can change it in a second. This EDX set has six boards in six bright colours, each double-sided: a 5 x 5 pin grid on one face for squares, rectangles and area work, and a 12-pin circle on the reverse for angles, fractions of a circle and symmetry. Having both patterns on one board is what stretches the set across several years of teaching rather than one topic. Six boards and 120 elastic bands is a group quantity, enough for children to work in pairs and compare results, and each board has a wide, easy stand edge so it can be propped up for the class to see. Activity cards are available separately as EDX20050A. Made from non-toxic plastic. Suits children from five years. Warning: choking hazard, small parts, not for children under three.
