Brand and product details
A set of 60 solid plastic blocks that vary along four attributes: two sizes, two thicknesses, three colours and five shapes. That structure is the whole point of the set. Because only one property changes between two given pieces, a child can be asked to find the same shape in a different colour, or the same colour in a smaller size, which is early logic rather than free building. The large square measures 7.5 cm along each side and every small shape is a quarter of its relative large shape, so the pieces sit in a fixed relationship to one another. EDX list the learning skills as basic mathematical concepts, fine motor skills, counting and sorting, from 3 years. The set is 61 pieces in total: 60 attribute blocks and one sorting and storage tray. Item size is 18 x 28 x 2 cm. EDX products are tested for compliance with EN71, ASTM and CPSIA standards and meet ISO 9001 accreditation requirements.
