This is a set of 22 double-sided activity cards that give geoboard work a proper syllabus. Each card features activities matched to the corresponding geoboards, covering fractions, shapes, area and perimeter, angles, symmetry and transformation, which is a considerably more demanding range than the shape-making most geoboards get used for. That is reflected in the age: these suit learners from nine years rather than the earlier primary band. Working the problems out physically, by moving bands between pins, is what makes the geometry stick, because a child sees a shape transform rather than reading about it. Being double-sided, the 22 cards carry activities on both faces, enough for a full classroom unit. Note that these are cards alone, intended for use with EDX Education Geoboards sold separately as EDX20140. Each card is A4, 30 x 21 cm. EDX products are tested for compliance with EN71, ASTM and CPSIA standards.
